Last updated: August 19, 2026
By submitting a membership application, creating an account, or using any feature of The City of Adam platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Service. Your agreement is recorded at the time of application submission and is required for membership approval.
The City of Adam is a private, members-only community platform for 7th Covenant Saints, operated by the House of Wisdom. The Service includes: membership applications and interviews, subscription-based access (individual, couples, and family tiers), live video meetings (Oblation Line and Live Classes via Jitsi), courses and assessments, events with ticketing, a digital library with commentary, an e-commerce store, social feed and groups, direct messaging, a job board, business profiles, marriage application workflows, consecration scheduling, games, and a digital membership passport. The Service is accessible via web and mobile applications.
You agree to use the Service lawfully and respectfully. You will not:
Live meetings (Oblation Line, Live Classes, interviews, councils, and consecrations) are conducted via Jitsi-as-a-Service. Meeting display names are set by the system and cannot be changed by users. Certain meetings enforce role-based moderation: non-moderators may be muted or have cameras disabled. Some live classes and events may be broadcast via vMix for external streaming. By joining a live meeting, you consent to these conditions and to the possibility of being recorded or broadcast.
The Service supports structured marriage application workflows (proving, betrothal, marriage) and consecration scheduling. These processes involve multiple parties, priests, counselors, household heads, and witnesses. By initiating a marriage or consecration application, you consent to the sharing of relevant information with assigned participants and to the multi-step process as designed. The House of Wisdom reserves the right to approve, delay, or decline any application at any stage.
Approved members receive a digital passport containing a unique QR code that links to their public member profile. The passport is for identification within the community. You are responsible for safeguarding your passport and should not share it with non-members. Replacement passports may be requested through your profile and may incur a fee.
The Service is moderated by keyholders, priests, administrators, and designated support staff. These roles may review applications, manage content, resolve support tickets, oversee marriages and consecrations, manage the store and courses, and enforce community standards. Administrative roles may include time-bound access expirations. Decisions of the administration are final.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the House of Wisdom and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, access, revenue, or spiritual outcomes. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid in the preceding 12 months.
You may cancel your subscription and stop using the Service at any time. The House of Wisdom may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, community standards, or unlawful conduct. Upon termination, your access to the Service ceases, though certain records (applications, marriage records, consecration records) may be retained per community policy.
We may update these Terms of Service as the Service evolves and new features are added. When material changes are made, we will notify members through in-app notifications or email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the House of Wisdom's operating jurisdiction. Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith community process first, and where required, through the appropriate legal channels.
For questions about these Terms, please contact us through the in-app Support portal or submit a support ticket from the Support page.
